How to Clean Cellular Window Shades

- Turn a hair dryer or compressed air onto the non-heat setting; blow off any accumulated dust from the fabric.
- Vacuum carefully with a vacuum cleaner brush attachment. Use a vertical stroke for most cellular shades.
- For spot-cleaning, dampen a clean sponge or soft cloth with lukewarm water. Blot gently; rubbing might damage or crease the fabric. If that doesn't work, add a drop of mild detergent to the sponge and try again.
- Use mild soap and water on plastic parts like handles, and wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.
